Lord, may it be Your will to speed up deliverance of mother2be, please strengthen her body and her courage. Spare her from all dangers of giving birth and lighten the pains.

Please protect the child so that the baby comes full of life and vigor. May hapiness becomes this family’s share and may this child become joy and pride for his parents.

Please accept my prayers for my friend and for her child. Watch them both as You hold life in Your power, please deliver the mother speedily, amen.

Congratulations to all three of you! I still have a copy of the scan of my daughter taken 12 years ago. It still chokes me up and fills me with wonder at the adventure we have had since then. Over a year you have experienced the full cycle from your mother’s death to her granddaughter’s arrival. I was very moved by the blog about your mum and Melanie.

When you told me that your wife was pregnant, i tried to visualise how much your life would change… Then I remembered how much my life altered when my little boy was born.
We tried for 10+ years to have a child, we had almost given up hope of ever being a mummy or a daddy.. Then a miracle, my wife missed her period(she NEVER missed her period), I remember the time exactly and always will…
I was working at a Take-away in the town at the time, she called me whilst I was on a delivery, it was 7pm and she was round her friends house. She said to me ” Lee, i need to tell you something” ok i said, shoot.. ” I have done 6 pregnancy tests and I am definitely pregnant!”
I will always remember that moment along with the 9 months of pregnancy that followed. The the moment came, the moment I had waited for since I was a young man – I was about to meet my child, my son……
He was born by caesarian section at 18:13 on October 13th 2004, his little stained body emerging from my wife’s tummy into this worl and screaming his head off!!
No, nothing would ever be the same… Its different….
But so so good…

Congratulations Christian & Jess, I wish you all the very best in this exciting journey.

humm , interesting not so many have brought through words of wisdom, to do’s and not to do’s.
Well, As a your Brother , and a Father of three ( Father- wow makes me feel old ) , I would like to wish you publicly all the best. Your world will never be the same again, there will be times of tears and joy. Love and laughter. For richer for poorer.
Just last night I was up all night with Julia, and today I have felt utterly drained. But one things for sure; I wouldn’t have it any other way! ..
